Every bill carries the name of the employee who sold it. At month end you see what each person earned. Returns are taken off, and you can print a payment slip.

Type the customer's phone number on a credit bill. ShopBill remembers who owes what, shows who is late, and clears the oldest bill first when they pay.

It does not file your GST. Your accountant still does that.

Installing on Windows
Run the installer. Windows may say "unknown publisher" because the installer is not code-signed yet: choose More info, then Run anyway. It adds shortcuts and opens ShopBill.
Installing on Android
Open the downloaded file on the phone and allow installs from this source when asked. Use the arm64 file on modern phones; use the larger one if that does not install.

What we receive when you register: your name, shop name and mobile number, and your email and town if you add them. They are used to start your trial and check your licence, and you agree to this in the app when you register.
FAQ
Does it need the internet?
Only once, to register and start the free trial, and for the occasional licence check. Making bills never needs it.
How do I pay?
Inside the app: Settings, then Licence. Choose a plan and pay by UPI. If anything is unclear, message us on WhatsApp.
Can I get a refund?
Ask us within 7 days of paying: message us on WhatsApp.
How does the free trial work?
Every new shop gets 15 days free. After that, a licence key keeps ShopBill running (see Pricing).
Where is my data kept?
On your own computer or phone, in an encrypted database. Bills, customers and prices are never sent to us. Only the registration details, the licence check and, if you switch it on, crash reports leave the device.
What if my computer or phone is lost or breaks?
Restore your latest backup on the new device with its file and password. That is why ShopBill reminds you to keep one backup copy away from the device. A forgotten backup password cannot be recovered.
Does it file my GST or income tax?
No. It keeps the records and prepares the tables and files your accountant asks for. The accountant files the return.
Which devices does it run on?
Windows computers and Android phones and tablets. There is no iPhone, iPad or Mac version.
Which printers work?
Bills are laid out for 58 mm and 80 mm rolls and for A4, and are printed through the printer you choose. If a bill does not print the way you want on your printer, message us and we will help.
Is there stock and inventory?
Yes, as a count per item type that goes down when you sell and goes up when you press Add to stock on a purchase order. There is no barcode or per-product catalogue.
What happens when my subscription ends?
ShopBill keeps working for 7 days with a warning. Then billing stops, but the licence, payment, backup and support screens stay open so you can renew and take your data out.
